How to get a Strind device ready.

Connect your M5Stack Core2 with a USB data cable, then use the browser flasher below. Chrome or Edge works best.

Flash Strind to your Core2

This installs the current HereOS build for Strind. After flashing, the device will guide you through Wi-Fi setup and show the code you enter in the console.

Step 1

Buy an M5Stack Core2.

Step 2

Create your Strind account and claim your handle.

Step 3

Flash Strind firmware, join the setup Wi-Fi, then link the device with the 6-character code on screen.

An M5Stack Core2.
A USB data cable, not just a charging cable.
A laptop or desktop for the initial firmware step.
Your home or office Wi-Fi details ready for setup.

Detailed setup flow

Step 1

Get your Strind account ready first. Your handle is what other people will use to reach you.

Step 2

Load Strind firmware onto the Core2 using the supported setup workflow from a desktop computer.

Step 3

After flashing, the device creates a temporary setup network so you can save your real Wi-Fi.

Step 4

Once the device comes online, it shows a 6-character code. Sign in and enter that code on the setup screen to link the device and unlock the rest of the console.

Step 5

Now your trusted messages can start landing on the device.

Important clarification

The flasher runs in your browser and writes Strind to the Core2 over USB. Keep the device plugged in until the installer finishes.

Best mental model: create your account, flash the device, join Strind-Setup, save Wi-Fi, then link it with the code shown on screen.

After setup

Once the device is linked, the website becomes your supervision layer: trusted senders, quarantine, handle setup, and account settings. The device is where the actual quiet inbox lives.
